Personalization (Bible Imprinting)
All Bibles is your source for personalized
Bibles--putting a name on a Bible or other letters
and/or numbers. Most of the thousands of Bibles that
we offer can be imprinted using hot-stamping
machines and special foils made of genuine 22 carat
gold and other metals. We can also put your church
or ministry logo on Bibles, and we offer volume
discounts on Bible imprinting.
How
much additional time is needed to ship a
personalized Bible?
In most cases, no additional time is needed. We
imprint Bible(s) on the same or following business
day of the order.
What letter/font sizes and
styles are used for Bible personalization?
The type size is about 18 points for
all letter styles. We offer two styles of lettering:
script and BLOCK. We almost always use
the Goudy Cursive font when a customer selects
"script". This is the traditional script that Bible
imprinters have used for years. It is done in upper
and lower case--all capitals are not allowed because
of size limitations and aesthetics (it just doesn't
look good).
Script (Goudy Cursive)

Occasionally, All Bibles will outsource
imprinting to one of our U.S. distributors. Some of
these distributing warehouses use another style of
script font--Park Avenue. Please note that a
particular style of script font may not be ordered.
The style used on the Bible is dependent on the
style used at the particular warehouse that imprints
and ships the Bible.
Script (Park Avenue)

The BLOCK style is done in all upper case
letters. The font type is gothic news print.
BLOCK (GOTHIC)

How many
lines and letters of personalization can be ordered?
Most Bibles can accept two lines of
personalization. Some larger Bibles, such as family
Bibles, can accommodate up to three. Each line of
personalization can have up to 25 characters and
spaces. Imprinting equipment has size limitations,
so we cannot make exceptions on the number of
characters and spaces. Most names are less that 25
characters and can easily fit on one line. Bibles
that can accept up to three lines will have that
option enabled on the product details page. NOTE:
Special characters and accent marks are NOT
available. The slash (/) will be replaced with the
hyphen (-).
Where
will the personalization be located?
Most Bibles are personalized in the lower right
section of the front Bible cover (as pictured).
Depending on the size of the Bible, the margins used
are typically 3/4 of an inch from the right edge and
bottom edge.
This location is not ideal for certain Bibles
because of size or cover styles. In these cases our
experienced Bible imprinters will select the best
location for the personalization. Other locations,
for example, may be the lower center or the center
of a snap flap just above the snap button on Bibles
that have that style of cover.
What color will the lettering
be on my personalized Bible?
The color of the foil used for Bible personalization
is primarily determined by the color of the page
edges
of
the Bible. A Bible with gold page edges will be
personalized in gold, silver for silver pages, etc.
However, there are certain Bibles with white or
specially-colored page edges. In most cases, the
imprint color will then be determined by the color
of other imprinting found on the Bible, such as
lettering found on the spine.
There are also Bibles with synthetic bindings.
The foils used for hot-stamping will not stick to
some of these bindings. In this case the Bible
imprinter will emboss the Bible leaving an
impression in the cover. This is now a commonly
accepted and attractive method to personalize these
bindings.
Which Bibles can be
personalized?
If a particular Bible can accept personalization
well, this option will be enabled on the product
details page. You may also see this image
near the title of the Bible on category and search
pages. If you find a bonded or genuine leather Bible
that does not have this option enabled, we may have
overlooked it. Please
contact us and one of our representatives will
validate the option.
What about bulk pricing for
personalized Bibles?
All Bibles offers special pricing for volume
purchases. Please
contact us for special discounts when buying in
bulk.
Do you imprint logos for
churches, ministries and other organizations?
Yes,
we do. Contact us if you are interested in
imprinting Bibles with your logo. Volume imprinting
discounts apply to larger orders. There is a
one-time fee of $75 for the custom die that
must be made for our machines, and a fee of $25 per
order to setup and test the machines for impriting. The logo must be
emailed to us in black and white line-art (no
shading, grays or color are allowed). We can typically fulfill
your custom imprinting order in two to three weeks.

Can personalized Bibles be
returned?
Because the process is irreversible, personalized
Bibles imprinted according to the customer's
instructions may not be returned unless the Bible(s)
has manufacturing defects.
All Bibles is a Christ-centered company
seeking to honor and glorify God. We reserve the
right to refuse personalization of profane or
blasphemous words, abbreviations and/or symbols that
we consider to be inappropriate of Christian
conduct. Orders of this nature will be cancelled.
