An actual page leaf from one of the earliest printings of the original King James Bible: printed between 1614 and 1649 in England… these leaves are 357 to 392 years old. They each come with a beautiful eight-page Historical Brochure containing a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the founder of the World Bible Society. The King James Bible remains the greatest book in the English language, and the best-selling book of all time. It is in fact, the only book with over one billion copies in print, and this leaf is from one of the first several thousand to be printed. Whether framed and displayed in your home, or given as a wonderfully unique gift: it is sure to draw attention.
These leaves measure approximately 8 to 9 inches tall by 6 to 7 inches wide. They were printed on 100% rag cotton linen sheet, not wood-pulp paper like books today, so they remain in excellent condition… even after nearly 400 years. Each leaf is a unique piece of ancient artwork, carefully produced one-at-a-time by the King’s printers using a movable-type press, and later bound together into whole Bibles. These genuine original antiquities are very rare and precious pieces of our history and our Christian heritage. All Bibles offers them for considerably less than the $300 to $500 each that they sell for in frame shops and gallerias across America.
Please note that these Bible leaves are not the result of the dismantling of complete antique Bibles, but rather come from incomplete Bibles.
